FIRST VISIT
Beginning a new treatment can feel unfamiliar, especially when the work is gentle and different from typical massage or facial experiences.
This page explains what will happen so you can arrive knowing what to expect.
Before your appointment
No preparation is required.
Wear comfortable clothing and allow time afterwards to move slowly back into your day where possible. Many people prefer not to schedule demanding activities immediately after their session.
For both facial and body treatments, jewellery around the head, neck and upper body will need to be removed.
Where possible, it is best left at home so you can settle into your session without interruption.
On arrival
Your session begins with a brief conversation about how you have been feeling and what has brought you in.
You do not need to have the “right” explanation — simple observations are enough. The treatment is guided by how your body responds rather than a fixed routine.
During the treatment
Sessions are intentionally calm and unhurried.
You will be comfortably supported throughout, and techniques are introduced gradually so the body has time to settle. There is no forceful pressure or sudden adjustments.
For facial sculpting, intra-oral work is always explained beforehand and only introduced once you feel comfortable.
Many people notice their breathing slow, muscles soften and thoughts quieten without needing to actively relax.
After the treatment
People commonly feel:
• lighter through the face or body
• grounded and clear
• deeply calm rather than sleepy
Occasionally you may feel tired later in the day as the body processes change. This is normal and usually followed by improved rest.
Hydration and a quiet evening support the response.
Ongoing sessions
While many notice change after the first visit, this work is cumulative.
A small number of sessions closer together often allows patterns to release more fully before spacing appointments further apart.
If you feel unsure
It is completely normal to feel uncertain before trying something new.
You are welcome to ask questions at any time — the pace of treatment always follows your comfort.
